Select a film of your choice and be prepared to watch at least 2 times (taking notes throughout the viewing). Remember that the main idea of the report is to discuss the music in relation to the story/actors etc. Copy the format that is shown under our class rubric (or see example that is posted on files). The paper should include: 5 – 8 pages double spaced – a title – your full name, telephone number and email – be a word document -filmography What to include in your report: 1. Background and context of film 2. Synopsis of film (a short paragraph) 3. Table of music cues. Description of the sound track elements (using terms we have learned in class) and whether or not they were effective. 5. Conclusion 6. Filmography at the end of the report.
